On Tuesday, it is likely that our son-in-law will go to jail. It is what it is.
He and DD23 were married 10/08/2010, by a judge with a sister and BFF present. I am OK with that. I am happier that they are married, in case he does do time. His health is so fragile – I worry that he will die inside. She is moving back home with us at the end of October, assuming he goes, bringing her 2 cats (making a total of 6 – of which only 2 are allowed). I am nervous about this, but know it is the right thing. It is what it is.
DD28 is financially doing much better. Soon she’ll be a bit ahead, which will be a joy. She made President’s List at her college and is enjoying her studies. It is what it is.
DD20 is still living in her boyfriend’s parents’ trailer. He is backpedalling about marrying her. There is no plan for them to get their own place anytime soon. I hate her situation; it breaks my heart. It is what it is.
It is a source of great comfort to me that I have been able to share the Gospel with both my son-in-law and DD28’s boyfriend. They have not chosen Christ yet, but I continue to pray. It is what it is.
Nothing much has changed here, between my husband and me. We have separate bedrooms now; I’m not looking forward to sharing a room with him again. He snores terribly, and gets up at 5:30am. It is what it is. I will survive.
The degree to which God is sovereign in your life, you will know peace.
