I have wanted to play with my punchanella for a while, but I was afraid. Yeah, I know, a great big girl like me afraid of an itty, bitty piece of plastic. Yup. I first tried it with acrylic paint on a brush – too much. Then I tried pastels – didn’t show up. Neither did stamp pads. Sigh. Then I remembered the sponges I’d bought for just this purpose. Huzzah!! Success!! I used Sharpies for the lettering. I am not sure why, but the lyrics from Peter Pan have been an earworm for the last few days so, in an effort to defeat them, I wrote some down. Actually worked rather well with the theme of trying new things and not “seeing” things like a grown-up!
My cat, Little Bit, was quite sick last week. We took her to the vet on saturday and she has made a complete and wonderful recovery, thank God!! It came as such a shock to us that our older kittehs are 8 years old, and she and Salem are 6!! Time flies so fast. . .
