Last week I was blessed to be the winner of a place in Moira Richardson’s class, Falling for You!! You can use the button in my sidebar to get more information from her blog.
The first challenge had to do with the expression”Apple of My Eye”. I used a uni-ball signo 153 for the writing (won it from Quinn McDonald – thanks again; you’re right, it is awesome!) over black gesso mixed with Liquitex Basics gold acrylic paint (I LOVE it!!) and (of course) a sticker.
This answered the question, “What flavor says ‘fall’ ?” I mixed red, orange and brown acrylic paint, the uni-ball pen, stickers and a piece of the bag the apples came in.
Here Moira asked about our most vivid ‘first day of school’ memory. I used a piece of scrapbook paper, my orange spray from Lindy’s Gang, a gel pen, piece of lined paper and – can you guess? Stickers, of course.
