being the on-going blog of a 65 year old woman who seeks to live her life based on secret messages from fortune cookies and affirmations from Dove Chocolates.
I cry when I listen to Taylor Swift’s “Tim McGraw” and “Love Story” BUT – my theme song is Pink’s “So What”.
I desperately want to be part of Gibbs’ family (even though I know I’ll never be Abby).
I know that West Virginia IS almost Heaven, but I’d rather live at the beach. North Atlantic, like Maine or Cape Cod. And I hate winter. Summer’s OK, spring is better, but fall is MY time.
When I grow up, I want to be a barista at Starbucks and do a tour with Tide’s Loads of Hope.
I had planned to spend my 65th Christmas in Taos, NM, after which I intended to take a roadtrip, following Route 66 from Chicago to LA. God obviously had other plans. I have bi-lateral lymphedema, an infection in my leg (also known as ‘Dat Leg’) that keeps coming back, and bouts of cellulitis.
I’m also depressed, I love “Forged in Fire”, and my relationship with Meredith Grey is . . . complicated.
While I learn a lot from other bloggers, much of the wisdom I’ve retained comes from “Finding Nemo” and “Meet the Robinsons”.
I believe that homeschoolers can teach almost anything using movies.
And even if none of y’all think much of me, Jesus thinks I’m to die for!
